And the Winner Is…

Over the weekend, Mark and I drove down to Cocoa, FL to visit his mom. On the way down, I needed to stop at Kohl’s to redeem a gift certificate that was going to expire. So… leave it to me, I picked a Kohl’s in Waterford Lakes, knowing that one of my favorite cupcake shops, “Sweet! By Good Golly Miss Holly,” would be right next door!
Even though it is one of my favorites, I hadn’t been there in awhile. I was surprised to find that it is not only a cupcake shop now, it is also a self serve frozen yogurt shop! What a great combination! Mark, unlike me, isn’t really too fond of cupcakes. So, he was able to have frozen yogurt while I got my cupcake fix.
There were two things I noticed when I walked into the cupcakery:
1. “Sweet!” not only serves big cupcakes anymore, but now serves about 30 different flavors of mini cupcakes!
2. A postcard sitting on the wall showed that Miss Holly is going to compete in Cupcake Wars tomorrow, July 13th at 9pm!
The postcard told me whether she will win or not, but don’t worry, I won’t spoil the surprise. I’ll let you watch for yourself.
Here are the two mini cupcakes I chose to relieve my cupcake withdrawls:
The strawberry cupcake is one of my favorites from “Sweet!” while Tiramisu is my second favorite dessert (second to cupcakes of course) so this cupcake was just to die for. I couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon treat.
Don’t forget to watch Cupcake Wars tomorrow. Go Team Holly!
